Geoff was born and raised near Philadelphia in the town of Sewell, New Jersey. At an
early age, he began to explore music and theater by taking voice lessons, performing in
community theater, and training as a classical violist and violinist. Geoff's involvement
with a touring showchoir in high school also began to develop his talents as a dancer.
Following his high school experiences, Geoff made the decision to pursue a career in
theater and attended Syracuse University where he acquired a BFA in Musical Theater.
During his four years, he honed his craft, worked regionally, and eventually became a
"triple threat".
Geoff currently resides in New York City and continues to work in a wide capacity of
roles.

To date, Geoff has worked with Tony Nominated choreographers Larry Fuller
(Evita, On the 20th Century, Sweeney Todd) and Dan Knechtges (Xanadu, 110 in the
Shade, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee).
Casting associates and peers who have worked with Geoff note him as an honest and
vulnerable actor with natural comedic timing. His lyrical tenor voice possesses a diverse
range well suited for a myriad of music styles including musical theater and pop. To
complete his skills, Geoff is a versatile dancer who quickly picks up choreography and
continues his training year round at the dance studio. While too modest to admit it, Geoff
Lutz is indeed an up and coming talent to keep your eyes on!
